Being a Texan and being independent is practically redundant. The Texas Independent Party exists to provide a place on the ballot to candidates proposing innovative solutions free from the demands of big money donors and internal power struggles.
We are the fusion movement of citizens who reject labels like liberal or conservative, instead opting for engaged listening, collegial debate, and creative action. It’s a party by people and for people who want to restore democracy.
Linda Curtis of Bastrop, Texas, serves as our Interim State Chair. Kim Limberg of Dallas, Texas, serves as our Interim Vice Chair.
The Texas Independent Party is proud to announce that the first candidate to express an interest in receiving our nomination is Presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. While Mr. Kennedy’s commitment to healing the divide, promoting peace, and bringing honesty to government has left him without a home in either of the two parties, it has led to a groundswell of support from the growing number of Texans who likewise no longer identify with either party.
